Conflict

My interpretation of the word Conflict for the recent postcard project at art college.

I decided to illustrate a chapter from War of the Worlds by H G. Wells as I felt it was one of my favourite novels that demonstrated the full impact of two worlds at war.

This is probably my second ever woodcut print as I tend to prefer paint or clay work but I think it works well with the rough typography and overall feel to the book.
