Sketch for New Claystration

A new idea for a future Claystration model based on the character of Ro-Man from the 1953 sci-fi movie Robot Monster directed by Phil Tucker. For those of you who may not have seen the movie, the plot was as follows- the alien invader Ro-Man has all but destroyed the human race which is now down to the last eight remaining humans who are next on his death list. The only problem being? Ro-man has fallen in love with one of his targets.

The movie wasn't well recieved and the fall out of bad reception led to the director attempting suicide. Apparently the films budget did not cover the expense of a full robot suit so the designers mixed it with a gorilla suit.

I have decided to create a 3D clay figure for a reworking of the original pulp movie poster in a bid to give the film a much needed refresh.
