Jörmungandr also known as the Midgard Serpent is a popular viking sea serpent or "worm" who was an enemy of Thor, the god of thunder, as well as being the son of Loki, the god of mischief. Jörmungandr will appear alongside the Kraken and Moby Dick in Leviathans: An illustrated guide to Sea Monsters
