REDCAPS

Redcaps are evil murderous goblin like creatures that have the nasty habit of attacking wayward travellers who have strayed from their paths. Their name comes from the practice of soaking their hats in their victim's blood. If the redcap fails to do so it will eventually turn to dust and die.
