Red Grouse

An unfinished painting of a Red Grouse, I plan on re-doing it a little to make it more earthy and grounded. In the past I've painted a Western Capercaillie, Black Grouse and a Skua, all birds soon to be featured in my revised edition of "Fae Heilan'Coo's Tae Midges", my Scottish animal book.
